SEE THE WORLD FROM A DIFFERENT PERSPECTIVE

Fascinated with the aerial view of landscapes, John’s paintings contain texture and layering that depict landforms, vegetation and bodies of water in a sea of color and shape. John finds the geographical features of aerial landscapes—their delicate yet striking patterns of light, color and texture—thought provoking and captivating.

Trained as both a landscape architect and an artist, John’s distinguished style is versatile and aesthetic in its appeal. John portrays the splendor of the natural world from a different perspective—high above the ground. As a result, his paintings are captivating, thought provoking and engage a viewer's senses.

Commissioned paintings often include elements such as soil, sand or grass from collected from the location that the painting is representing.
